Students list assignments in their calendar books every day as part of their morning routine. Because I plan homework to be responsive to what we get accomplished on any given day the assignment book entry is the most accurate listing of homework.

Friday	-	Teacher Workshop Day - No School
Weekly Notes: Students are doing a final revision on their newsletter article. The final version is due this Thursday. They are also working hard to fill their genre wheels. We are roughly halfway to its due date and the wheel should be half filled. Some students may need a trip to the library to find specific genres. Thank you parents for your thoughtful responses to the binder walk. I will assign more throughout the year.
